What is CycloLog® ?
CycloLog® is a Windows™-based, interactive, user-friendly mathematical software tool. It allows the user to charaterise distinct parts of wireline log data in an objective, quantitative and repeatable manner.
CycloLog® is a toolbox of functions specifically designed for geological interpretation of wireline logs, and particularly for stratigraphic analysis of log data.

What can CycloLog® do ?
The CycloLog® software contains a unique package of mathematical algorithms and signal processing techniques for the transformation of logs. Greatly improved resolution of stratigraphic correlation can result from processing your log data with, which can extract trends and patterns that remain hidden in untreated data. With understanding of the principles behind climatic-forcing of stratigraphic cyclicity, CycloLog®'s spectral analysis functions can lead to a near-synchronous correlation based only on standard log data.

Who should use CycloLog®
Essentially all geoscience staff of the petroleum industry that are interested in establishing near-synchronous stratigraphic well correlations. The software is specially designed for petroleum geologists preferably with a stratigraphic and/or sedimentological background. A working knowledge of sequence stratigraphy and cyclostratigraphy is recommended and will enhance the interpretation of the analysed wireline logs.
