Courses and Seminars

Enres has been presenting specialized courses and field seminars to the petroleum industry for the last 10 years and our participant list includes several major oil companies.

Our courses and field seminars have gained a reputation because of its presentation, organization and content. We always try to include the most up-to-date geological concepts and their application to petroleum E&P in our courses and seminars. In addition, a continuous upgrade of the contents with the results of our R&D results is implemented each year.

Areas of our field seminars are carefully selected and evaluated for their exposures, relevancy as outcrop analogues and their accessibility. Field seminars are given in the Pyrenees and the Ebro basin, northern Spain and in the Sinai, Egypt. Each locality offers superb exposures and allows close observation of all aspects of sequence stratigraphy, cyclostratigraphy and sedimentology.

Released well- and seismic data from exisisting oil and gas fields are shown during the seminars and compared with the various outcrops.

Participants get a better understanding of the geological dimensions and the practical applications of the different stratigaphic concepts in exploration, field development and reservoir characterization.
