S. Djin Nio
Manager / R&D and Reservoir Studies
Djin Nio is a geologist with more than 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry. Formerly he was professor in sedimentology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands and joined the petroleum industry in 1990. He is the founder of Enres International and author of CycloLog, a tool that enhances the geological interpretation of log data in terms of sequence stratigraphy, cyclostratigraphy and sedimentology. His main activity is R&D of oil and gas exploration and production. His consultancy activities has taken him to a large number of hydrocarbon fields, including the North Sea, the Middle East and the Far East.
Alain R. Böhm
Geophysicist and IT Supervisor
Alain Böhm graduated Geophysics in 1999 at Utrecht University. He is currently working on his Master's thesis in Computer Science, also at Utrecht University.
For the last few years he has been working on the development of CycloLog, a tool that enhances the geological interpretation of log data in terms of sequence stratigraphy, cyclostratigraphy and sedimentology. Besides the development of CycloLog, his work consists of supervising the IT projects within the company.
Mat G. De Jong
Production Geology and Reservoir Studies
Mat De Jong is a geologist with over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to working with Enres, he was involved for Conoco in exploration and production projects in a variety of areas, including the North Sea, Eastern Europe, Vietnam, Nigeria and the Middle East.
Mat has wide ranging technical experience, from reservoir characterization to fairway mapping. For Enres, Mat has worked on projects in the deepwater of GOM and in the Rotliegend basin of NW Europe.
Changshu Yang
Field Development and Regional Studies
Changshu Yang previously worked as a petroleum geologist for the Ministry of Geology in China. After obtaining his Ph.D. at Utrecht University in 1989, he started to work as a petroleum consultant.
He has worked on licensing rounds, regional evaluations, and exploration projects in the North Sea area, Offshore Mid-Norway, Barents Sea, GOM, Ecuador, Nigeria and the Far East. He has also worked on field development and production in Norway, UK, Netherlands and China. His experience includes integrated basin, block and field evaluations, sequence stratigraphy, cyclostratigaphy, clastic sedimentology, reservoir characterization and well planning.
